The Magnavox is a clean-sheet Kestrel supercar concept developed to explore a denser, more technical and more road-real visual language. With a cab-rearward stance, sharply faceted side surfaces and a continuous rear light signature, the concept balances supercar drama with a more believable production-adjacent identity.

The Magnavox was shaped around the idea of creating an original supercar concept that feels visually expensive and deliberately resolved. Rather than chasing pure fantasy, the design explores a more grounded form language where strong light behaviour and a recognisable identity carry the concept.

Design Development

Phase 01: Initial Proportion Study

The project began by establishing stance, wheel-to-body relationship and the angular cabin graphic. The aim was to create a concept that felt sharper, heavier and more technical than a generic supercar silhouette.

Phase 02: Form Resolution

With the overall proportions established, the key volumes were refined around a low bonnet, cab-rearward greenhouse, strong shoulder line and a deep side excavation that gives the Magnavox its distinct visual mass.

Phase 03: Surface Language

The body side became the defining gesture. Intersecting planes and hard-edged transitions create visual tension while allowing light to move sharply across the panels.

Phase 04: Identity & Detail

The lighting, lower body treatment and technical detailing were resolved as a single visual system, giving the car a recognisable identity without relying on excessive vents or decoration.

Phase 05: Final Visualisation

The final concept was placed into cinematic environments to test its identity beyond the studio. The result is a coherent clean-sheet Kestrel concept with stronger presence, maturity and brand-defining confidence.

The Magnavox broadens the Kestrel portfolio with a concept that feels cleaner, more mature and more technically resolved. It demonstrates how the studio’s visual language can move beyond raw drama into something sharper, more believable and more brand-defining.
